My summer vacation officially starts in about two weeks, even though school ends on the 15th. This is because I have finals from the 16th until that Friday, and then another final for my History class the week afterwards.

After finals, my parents and I are going to Montreal. Now, I don't think anyone would be surprised to hear that it's mostly because my mother wants to go shopping, but think about this. I'm going to be away from my friends for a number of days. After that trip, they will be WORKING AT CAMP. Epic fucking fail.

I've got a job for the summer, too, and it has good pay. I'm going to be working with computers and some databases at my mom's place of employment, where they make products for handicapped and disabled folks. $10 an hour to do what I do best? Awesome. I can handle the 8 hours a day, and I'm only going to be working for 4 days out of the week, so I'll have time to hang around with some people. The problem is, of course, that nobody will be around. I'd have to go all the way down into New York City to hang out with people. Mind you, my parents don't drive, and I'm not old enough to get my license yet.

I'm going to be entirely honest in saying that only two or three of my friends should actually be working at camp, since they actually NEED the money. Everyone else's families have money coming out of places I'd rather not think about.

On the bright side, there's a lot of things that can be done in NYC. I'm not going to be all, "HURR DURR IMMA TOURIST NYC IS THE BEST LOLOLOLOLOL HURR DURR" since I've spent a good 4/5 of my life there. Now, I don't want to be all whiny about things, because my summer could be worse, but I run out of ideas quickly, and I have the funny feeling that I'm going to be spending my days off completely and entirely bored.

TL;DR: BAWWWWW I have a ton of finals, I'm going to Canada, and this trip will cause me to not see my friends until late August when their jobs end. I'm a workin' man, now, too, but I think I can find ways to keep myself entertained. Still single and all that jazz.

So, my fellow NGers, what are YOUR summer plans?

I suppose I might as well make my return to Newgrounds official. I still can't stand General, though, but I really missed some of you guys here (I think you know who you are :3)
Another school year draws to a close, and I'm still woefully single, but now I've taken a liking to *real* punk rock music and fashion. You can't have everything you want in life, I suppose, and I guess that's doubly true for Newgrounds. You can either receive more exposure, have more people join and have the creativity flow, or have a ton of fun on a loosely-moderated General where now-bannable phrases were once as common and (usually) enjoyed as greeting someone on the street.

In any case, I wanted to keep this post short. I like the new medals system. Your thoughts?

Why, hello there!
My name is Sashuno, and I once was a Newgrounds regular. I've had an account since 2007, and I've been lurking around since about 2005. Now, you probably don't recognize me, but assuming that you've read and commented on my user page once or twice, you very well might.

It has come to my attention through the various bannings of several friends that Newgrounds has gone off the deep end, into the cess pool of fail. Way to fucking go, Newgrounds.

I am, of course, talking about the invasion of weeaboos, attention whores, and overall idiots, as well as the addition of rules that b& *chan memes, NG memes, and calling people N***er or faggot. Now, the last banning I do not mind, but being b& for insulting another NG user is NOT cool.

Anyway, I've had enough of it. At least /b/ still has a FEW good threads on it, not to mention that they only wordfilter a few words, and even then, they're just highlighted. In addition, schoolwork will be over 9,000 metric fucktons of work, so I need to have as few distractions as possible. I'm strongly considering going back to ChaosBoards and staying there as well.

So... yeah, it's been fun, see you guys. It's been fun for the most part.

It's here, finally.
I have a few goals.

-I need some more muscle, so I'm going to do some exercise every day (though if I do that, I'll schedule it)

-I do need to eat healthier, so I won't be picking up that second candy bar for a while.

-I want to do some more reading. I feel more like myself when I'm reading. Plus, a good book never hurt anyone.

-I want to get some meditation in. It helps me think, it helps me sleep and it helps me feel good.

-I might take swimming lessons, but I don't know. (picture related)

-I'm also looking into the less flamboyant stuff at Hot Topic. Some of it's actually wearable, so I'm coming up with a look with my friends that... well, it's supposed to be a rocker/metalhead who really LIVES for rock and/or metal but truly respects other genres, also translating over to different kinds of people. *shrugs* But whatever.

-I'm also going to hopefully spend a lot of time wandering my village and the town next to us aimlessly and chilling with my friends.

-I have some music remixes of Mushroomhead, Lamb of God, and Nine Inch Nails- UNFINISHED remixes. I'll go and work on those at some point.

All in all, I'm going to have a pretty cool summer.

...The school year's almost over for me.
I have to say, I'm looking forward to the summer. My daily regimen includes reading, chilling with my friends, getting lots of fresh air, some meditation, and possibly a job working at a small enabling devices company for disabled and handicapped people near my house.

Also, I've been thinking, and I've come to the conclusion that if I believed in god, I'd make damn well sure he could kick the crap out of YOUR god.

I went to Philly with the folks from Wednesday morning until Friday afternoon. It was pretty cool to see so much history, especially since Failadelphia was the original capital of the USA.

I did a lot of things there. I visited nearly every museum there, and had some cheese steaks (of course). I missed Gigantour for it, though, but I think going to Failadelphia with the folks made up for it.

So yeah.
